Email me at contact@avandistudio.com to know where the next showroom or exhibition will be for a specific piece.

How can I pay?

You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Paypal.

Can I return my order?

Hopefully you love your order! If not, please check our return policy here.

Repairs are also available, allowing you to keep your products for longer!

Do you offer discounts?

You may have noticed that Avandi isn't big on deals and discounts. Instead, we price our products according to true costs of manufacturing and operations, so you pay a fair price all year long. We hope you value your purchases and enjoy them for years to come.

Process

Who makes the pieces?

Currently, I (Ariane) make all the pieces - but I don’t hesitate to ask for the help of experts for the techniques that are new to me (cutting mirrors for example).

When I do work with manufacturers, I make sure to collaborate with people I trust and are committed to the long term well-being of their employees and community.

Where are they made?

Currently, my pieces are made in Brussels, Belgium. Mostly at Microfactory, a great collaborative workshop and community.

I used to live in Brooklyn, NY, so the pieces that were made between 2013 and 2018 were all made in the USA, by myself or by independent manufacturers (see above).

Wherever I am located in the world, I work as locally as possible. Read more about my values here.

How do you select your materials?

Materials are often a starting point to a project or object and I select them based on the function needed, the technique used and their durability.

I favor natural, strong materials that evolve well with time and can be fixed if necessary.

My new work focuses on excess materials from construction or manufacturing, and the materials I reclaim really determine the outcome.

Read more about materials here.

Custom orders

I loved a certain piece but it’s sold out. Will you make more?

It depends on the piece - I use reclaimed materials so I might not always have enough to reproduce a piece, but contact me and we can discuss!

Do you make custom pieces?

Of course! Whether you’re looking for one piece of for a series (company gift?), I’m happy to help. Read more here to know where to start!
